Primate of the Church of Nigeria Visits Peter Akinola Foundation Youth Centre

The Peter Akinola Foundation Youth Centre recently had the honour of welcoming the Primate of the Church of Nigeria, The Most Revd. Dr. Henry Chukwudum Ndukuba, and his wife, alongside The Rt. Revd. Dr. Emmanuel Oludaisi Adekunle, Bishop of Egba Diocese, and other clergymen of the Anglican Communion.
The visit was an important and memorable moment for the Centre as the distinguished delegation came to see the newly developed structure being prepared to kick-start the Talomola Initiative, a project envisioned to create opportunities for young people through development, empowerment, skills acquisition and positive transformation.
The Primate and his wife, together with the Bishop of Egba Diocese and the other clergy, were received by the Founder and Chairman of the Peter Akinola Foundation, Most Revd. Dr. Peter J. Akinola, alongside members of staff of the Peter Akinola Foundation Youth Centre.
During the visit, the delegation was taken around the newly developed facilities, allowing them to see the progress that has been made towards bringing the vision of the Talomola Initiative to life. The development of the Centre marks another significant step in the Foundation’s commitment to creating an environment where young people can discover their potential, develop practical skills and prepare themselves for meaningful contributions to society.
A significant part of the visit was the prayer session held at the Centre. The Primate, alongside the visiting clergy, prayed for the continued growth and success of the Peter Akinola Foundation and the Youth Centre. Prayers were also offered for the young people and everyone who will come through the Centre.
The prayer was particularly centred on the Centre becoming more than just a physical structure, but a place of transformation and divine encounters — a place where young people can be empowered, inspired, equipped and positively impacted.
The visit was therefore not only a moment to inspect the newly developed structure, but also an opportunity to reaffirm the vision and purpose behind the Centre. The presence, prayers and encouragement of the Primate, his wife, the Bishop of Egba Diocese and the other clergy provided renewed encouragement as the Foundation prepares for the next phase of the Talomola Initiative.
The Peter Akinola Foundation Youth Centre is grateful for the visit and for the prayers offered towards the Centre and its future.
As we look forward to the commencement of the Talomola Initiative, we remain hopeful and expectant that the Centre will become a place where lives are transformed, talents are developed, skills are acquired, destinies are shaped and young people experience divine encounters.
We give thanks to God for the progress so far and look forward to all that He will accomplish through the Peter Akinola Foundation Youth Centre and the Talomola Initiative.
The journey continues, and the vision is becoming a reality.
